Follett Higher Education Group is seeking exceptional retail professionals with multi-level experience for our Regional Executive Development Training Program. The goal of the program is to assist in the strategic planning for regional manager vacancies through the selection and development of candidates who possess the skill sets required for the position of regional manager.

Qualified candidates must currently reside or have the ability to relocate within the following geographical areas: Midwest, East Coast, West Coast, Southwest and Canada (bilingual ability is considered an asset).

The Regional Executive Development Program for store directors and managers is a comprehensive 3 month maximum experience-based formal training process designed to prepare qualified participants to succeed in the role of a regional manager with Follett Higher Education Group.

Each regional executive?s training plan, sequencing and length of experiences, will be structured based on the individuals prior experiences and accomplishments and in accordance with Follett Higher Education?s Group?s business cycle and operational events and will include opportunities for the individual to progressively demonstrate his or her ability to successfully perform in a regional manager role.

Upon successful completion of the program, candidates will be assigned to a regional manager position or if a vacancy is not available, will serve in a region until assigned.

Requirements:

Required Skills:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience
2. Minimum of 5 years high volume (5M +) retail management experience
3. Minimum of 5 years multi unit retail store experience
4. Above average track record and demonstrated consistent financial performance in both sales and profits
5. Proven experience in directing and developing management staff
6. Sound financial management skills
7. Exceptional skills in execution and implementation of operational objectives and tasks
8. Superior organizational skills to get priorities completed in a orderly, systematic and procedural fashion and an ability to multi-task
9. Strong analytical skills reflected in the ability to use logic to solve problems and anticipate long term consequences
10. Goal oriented with the ability to motivate others to achieve high level results
11. Ability to relocate within a targeted region required
