JOB DESCRIPTION:

Summary:
Sales Managers will be responsible for selling Zynx solutions to organizations. Zynx solutions provide organizations with the tools to standardize care around evidence-based practice. ZynxOrder , ZynxCare and ZynxAmbulatoryCare help clinicians make evidence actionable in the form of order sets, plans of care, reminders, and alerts which can be easily customized to include local guidelines, evidence, or community best practices.

Sales Managers will market software products and services to the healthcare community (includes institutional, professional and allied health specialties), develop new client base within designated territory and work with internal and external contacts to achieve sales goals. Must work successfully independently and as part of a professional team.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Identify and close new account opportunities.
* Identify and close sales opportunities with existing customers.
* Participate in contract negotiations.
* Identify and solve sales problems.
* Conduct site visits.
* Inform the organization of changing market conditions and competitive issues.
* Report sales activity to management.
* Coordinate activities with Zynx Client Managers Coordinate activities with vendor partners.
* Lead meetings and present information to C-suite executives, clinicians and other hospital personnel.


Requirements:

EXPERIENCE
* Sales Managers must have a minimum of 3-5 years of verifiable quota performance.
* Experience in Healthcare IT sales is a must, preferably in software.
* Experience in HIT systems sales preferred.
* Experience in consultive solution sales, as well as hunting and channeling environments.
* Highly motivated self-starters with excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Formal presentation skills before small and large groups.
* Demonstrated problem solving ability and negotiation skills (with special emphasis on closing sales).
* Experience managing territories and state-of-the-art products.
* Consistent follow-through and time management skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.


EDUCATION
* BS/BA required. Degree in a medical field (Nursing, Medical Technology, Pre-med) a plus.
* Graduate technical/clinical degree or MBA highly desirable


OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
* Significant travel required.
